If you’ve never booked a yard greeting before, you might be wondering how the process works. One of the reasons families love yard greetings is that they’re completely hassle-free. From design to delivery to installation and removal, everything is handled for you.
Here’s what to expect when you book a yard greeting with us.
The first step is filling out our booking form to reserve your celebration date.
Because our displays are in high demand and we have a limited number of installation teams and sign inventory available on any given day, we recommend submitting your booking form at least two weeks in advance whenever possible. Booking early helps ensure we can reserve the right inventory and installation slot for your celebration.
Planning something last minute? Don’t worry. If we have availability, we will always do our very best to accommodate short-notice requests.
You’ll be asked to provide:
Address where the sign will be installed - we like to think that's a no brainer.
Type of property - this helps us plan for any special circumstances, timing issues or space constraints.
For example, if you live in a townhouse with a 10 ft patch of grass, a 20+ ft designer deluxe sign might not be practical. If you're a school, we try to avoid installation during drop off and pick up times when it's already congested and chaotic. If your event is at a public location like a park or rec center, we need to more tightly coordinate your same day installation and removal time windows.
Type of event -
Tell us what you're celebrating. Is it a Birthday, Anniversary, Retirement, Graduation, New Baby, Promotion, Back to school, Teacher Appreciation, Fun Run, Grand Opening, Veteran's Day, Holiday, Promposal, Marriage Proposal, etc... ? If you can dream it, we can design it
Name (and age) of the guest of honor - we can leave the age off, but please tell us anyway, so we understand who we are designing for. Grandma probably doesn't want Paw Patrol figures in her sign even if she doesn't want us to know her age. If it's not a birthday or Graduation, we will consult with you on the sign message
Their favorite colors or your event theme colors, sports, hobbies, career (if adult) or interests they love, favorite characters or themes
These details help us design a totally unique yard card display that reflects the personality of the person being celebrated and makes the surprise even more special.
Once your booking is confirmed, we will send you an invoice. From there, our team takes care of the rest. You do no tneed to be home during installation.
We typically install yard greetings the night before your celebration date, so the guest of honor wakes up to an exciting surprise waiting outside. Our installations often happen quite late at night, especially during the warmer months when temperatures are cooler for our team.
Our goal is always the same: to have the display ready and looking fantastic for the big day.
Your yard greeting remains in place throughout the celebration so friends, family, and neighbors can enjoy it all day long.
Many of our displays also include solar spotlights, which illuminate the greeting beautifully for hours after sunset. It’s a fun way to keep the celebration going into the evening and makes the display look fantastic in photos.
After the celebration, there’s nothing you need to do. We return the following day to remove the display, leaving your yard just as we found it.
Most yard card greeting rentals last about 36 hours unless you request an extra day. They are installed the evening before the event, displayed throughout the Celebration day, and removed the following day.
